The fines were imposed by the Office of Enforcement Counsel of the Board and are related to BetMGM's acceptance of sports bets on the boxing match between Victor Belfort as well as Evander Holyfield in Sept. 2021.
The PGCB said that it clearly informed all providers that gambling on this event would not be permitted, however BetMGM, Mountainview's associate in sports betting, took 76 bets.
