Pennsylvania lawmakers push for online poker compacting in new bill

The relatively short bill directs the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to act and join the online poker compact within 30 days of its passage. So far, the bill has only been introduced and has not received a reading or hearing. In January, Pennsylvania online poker sites generated just under $2.7 million in revenue, which is consistent with the industry's monthly revenue in the state. If it joins the compact with Nevada, New Jersey, and Michigan, revenue is expected to increase significantly.
