Pennsylvania records $476.3million in September gaming revenue report

According to Pennsylvania's gaming statistics for September 2023, the state earned $476.3 million in total. This amount is an increase of 6% from September 2022, when revenue reached $448.5 million.

If the state's iGaming slot revenue is broken down, it came to $114.7 million, a 47% increase over the same period last year. Retail slot machine revenue increased by 1% to $199.9 million, marking the largest increase among the gaming verticals in the state.

Unexpectedly, sports betting saw a sharp decline in revenue, down 27% to $36.6 million from the previous year. The revenue from sports wagering should have increased with the start of the new NFL season, but this wasn't the case.

Wow, that's quite a significant amount! The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board released its September revenue report, and the numbers are impressive. With over $476 million in revenue, the state is continuing to see a strong recovery in its gaming industry after the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The increase in revenue was driven by a number of factors, including the reopening of casinos and an increase in online gaming. It's great to see the gaming industry in Pennsylvania on the rise again! Do you think this trend will continue?
