The National Lottery Heritage Fund has granted funding for a landmark renovation project in Glasgow.
Campaigners hope that the £850,000 in initial development funding for the People’s Palace and Winter Gardens in the east end of the city will pave the way for a full £7.5 million makeover.
The building, located in Glasgow Green, houses collections that trace the social history of the city from 1750 to the present.
