Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation announces 5% remittance deduction

The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation's Chair and CEO has declared that the gross gaming revenue remittance rate for both on-site and online betting will be reduced.

The state gaming regulator's modifications are anticipated to take effect on April 1st in an effort to draw in additional foreign capital to the Philippine gaming industry.

The CEO claims that the action will increase the regulator's licensing and regulatory revenues by encouraging even illegal operators to consider obtaining a legally issued license.
