Phillipine Amusement and Gaming Corporation sends relief packs to those affected by hurricane

The 15th tropical storm to strike the Philippines this year was Typhoon Ofel, also called Typhoon Usagi. Prior to the typhoon, about 10,000 people were evacuated; according to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, 112,000 people have been displaced and 852,000 people have been affected. As a result, PAGCOR has prepared more than 21,000 relief packs that will be distributed to residents of Ilocos Norte, Apayao, Cagayan, Isabela, and Pagudpud.
 
The eighth annual Safer Gambling Week will be held from November 18–24, 2024. This event brings together regulators, government officials, and industry leaders to promote responsible gambling practices. It aims to increase awareness of safe betting habits and highlight resources available to help players maintain control. The initiative fosters cooperation to enhance player protection and ensure that gambling remains a safe activity for all participants.
