Player struck in eye by roulette ball sues Las Vegas casino

The Gold Coast casino hotel in Las Vegas is being sued for $15K in damages by a roulette player. The roulette player from Las Vegas alleges that an out-of-control ball struck her in the eye after the dealer rolled it at an unsafe and negligent speed.

On October 28, 2021, the incident allegedly took place at the Boyd Gaming location off the Strip. The eighth judicial district court in Clark County received the complaint on September 25, 2023.

$15k does seem like a lot for damages but medical bills add up I'm sure, and pain and suffering too. An eye injury is no joke. The casino probably doesn't want negative publicity either so they may settle quickly. As long as they learned their lesson that's the important thing.
