Playtika, a company that creates mobile games, revealed today that it will purchase Innplay Labs for up to $300 million. The target might ultimately fetch a price of up to $300 million, with an up-front payment of $80 million being included in the agreement. Innplay is a firm based in Israel, similar to Playtika. It is privately owned. Despite Playtika's continued acquisition spree, news of the Innplay Labs acquisition only became public around three months after rumours that various private equity companies were considering buying the Israeli gaming startup.
