With a further contingent consideration that could raise the purchase price to $1.25 billion, mobile game developer Playtika announced today that it is paying $700 million to acquire rival SuperPlay.
Adjusted earnings before interest and taxes, depreciation, amortization, and sales targets are among them. Through the acquisition, Playtika will have greater exposure to the board and coin-looter game categories in the mobile gaming market.
Perhaps adding new growth outlets to the Playtika portfolio through the acquisition of SuperPlay will allay some of those worries.
