Abdul Hadi Awang, head of Parti Islam SeMalaysia (PAS), responded to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's comments that Perikatan Nasional (PN) was financed by gaming money by saying that people who live in glass homes shouldn't cast stones.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Tan Sri Abdul Hadi stated that the PAS state government had closed betting establishments in Kelantan in the 1990s, but asserted that Mr. Anwar, who served as country's finance minister at the time, had really awarded the licenses.
