Poice officer "justified" in shooting incident around MGM Springfield casino

A district prosecutor declared last week that the Massachusetts police officer who fatally shot a suspect during a shootout outside the MGM Springfield resort was entitled to use deadly force.Officers saw Tisdol walking on Main Street a block away from the casino when they opened fire. After an altercation on the MGM property, police attempted to stop him.He eluded the officers as they neared. The police pursued him and demanded that he take a hand out of his jacket pocket, where they thought he was concealing a pistol. Tisdol was being tackled by one of the officers when he escaped, got to his feet, and ran away. A second after that, one of the officers gave a taser warning at Tisdol.
