The passing of considered one of its largest stars has the poker community in consternation. Poker legend Doyle Brunson died on Sunday in Las Vegas. He was 89 at the time. His reason of loss of life hasn't been disclosed. Brunson, a well-known athlete who performed basketball for Hardin-Simmons University, was born in Longworth, Texas, in 1933. His dream of playing within the NBA turned into destroyed via a serious knee damage, but not his spirit. Brunson discovered poker inside the early 1950s and became talented at it to use it to pay for his studies and clinical bills.
