Poker player robbed of $250,000 at gunpoint outside New York hotel

At a hotel in New York City, a man who appeared to be a high roller was robbed at gunpoint while carrying a bag full of $250,000 cash for a poker game.

The victim, 41, was standing outside the Marriott hotel near LaGuardia Airport in New York when a man demanded at gunpoint that he turn over the bundle of cash.

According to sources, the suspect then drove off with the money in a Mercedes. If the suspect was operating the car is a mystery.
