Relevant? Poker's always been relevant to me, pal. Been my lifeblood for years now. Maybe the big online sites and televised tournaments have given it more mainstream shine, but poker's spirit ain't changed.
It's still just us, the felt, some chips, and a few lies. Still comes down to guessing what's in your opponent's mittens and trying to make 'em fold. Poker's timeless because human nature is timeless. We'll always have the urge to gamble, to outwit each other, to size up our foes.
As long as there are card games and trash talking players across smoky card tables, poker will remain defiantly relevant. It's woven into our culture now, inseparable from Americana. Poker's never going anywhere I'm concerned with! The game, she marches on.
