84 people were arrested by police during a raid at a shopping center on suspicion of creating online gambling apps for international markets, including a Thai national.
According to the police chief, the syndicate registered as an IT company and hired the people in custody to work as IT workers on gambling apps that were aimed at Thailand, Brazil, China, and Vietnam markets. The detained people were paid between $1,060 and $4,240 per month for their services.
