Police chief in Thailand province shuffled after illegal casino bust

Due to his oversight of a sizable illegal casino, the head of the Nonthaburi Provincial Police was demoted to an inactive position at the Royal Thai Police headquarters.

The transfer order was issued following a meeting chaired by the acting national police chief, wherein the participants decided who would be in charge in the event that a team of provincial officials, rather than police, discovered a gambling den in their region.

These things are definitely the responsibility of the police and if they are not able to accurately identify and take notice of such things strict actions can definitely be taken against them which was actually taken in this case as well so we cannot blame the authorities for taking such action against the person responsible for the task
