Following a planned security operation on Thursday, December 1, three men, ages 37, 35, and 32, were detained in the Bonaparte, Bonnyrigg, as well as Airdrie regions in connection with an inquiry into alleged gambling occurrences in sports, according to a Police Scotland spokeswoman. Awaiting additional investigations, all three individuals were freed without being charged.
