Over 4,700 minors have been identified by police as having participated in online gambling activities in the past year, they said on Sunday.
According to the National Police Agency, during a special crackdown on illegal online gambling that took place from September 2023 to October of this year, 4,715 people under the age of 19 were found. No minors have been taken into custody.
With 82.6 percent of all cases, online casino games were the most common type of gambling among these teenagers.
