Politician believes Georgia Trump supporters want introduction of sports betting

According to one legislator, it's time for the state to give the people what they want because a large portion of the voters who helped Trump win the state also favour sports betting.Georgia, the ninth most populous state, is one of just three states in the top 20 that do not allow regulated sports betting; the other two are California and Texas. Among the remaining big states that do not allow sports betting, Georgia has emerged as the top choice for gaming companies and industry watchers due to the dynamics in those two states. The state has, however, plagued bettors by repeatedly trying to pass legislation pertaining to sports wagering, only to have such bills fail. That occurred once more earlier.
