Polymarket CEO victim of house raid by FBI

Days after Polymarket outperformed traditional polls by correctly predicting the outcome of the US presidential election, the FBI raided the Manhattan apartment of the company's founder and CEO.

US citizens are allegedly blocked by Polymarket, a decentralized, unregulated financial exchange and prediction platform. Nonetheless, US users might be able to get around it by using a VPN, which can mask a user's location.

It is estimated that the platform handled about $3.2 billion in cryptocurrency worldwide as a result of election-related speculation.
