Praise galore abounds within gaming industry after retirement of top New Jersey regulator

After almost 13 years in charge of the state's Division of Gaming Enforcement, New Jersey's top gaming regulator announced his retirement.

Regulations were also put in place during his administration to facilitate the growth of retail and online sports betting, as well as online casinos. As the gold standard for the best regulatory practices for the commercial gaming industry in the United States, New Jersey emerged to complement Nevada.

The individual will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award on April 18 at the 27th Annual East Coast Gaming Congress. The Hard Rock is the venue for the event.
