Premier League clubs accused of greed as 11 teams have gambling sponsor on shirts

As Bournemouth announced that a gambling company would be sponsoring them on the front of their shirt for the upcoming season, Premier League clubs have been accused of being greedy for making “desperate deals for a few extra quid”. For the 2026–2027 campaign, a ban will be in effect.

As a result of Bournemouth's announcement on Tuesday, there will now be betting companies on the front of more than half of England's top-flight teams, up from eight the previous season.
