Premier League clubs set to lose $168million post gambling shirt sponsor ban

Recent research on UK casino platforms indicates that nearly five-eighths of Premier League clubs stand to lose a total of £126.6 million due to the impending ban on front-of-shirt gambling and casino brand sponsorships, which is set to take effect for the 2026–2027 season.

Eleven of the possible nineteen clubs could lose the money they are currently receiving from various casino or gambling brands due to the ban on front-of-shirt gambling sponsorships, which the clubs agreed upon as part of an agreement with the UK government.
