Premier League footballer banned for eight months following betting escapades

The news that Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been given an eight-month suspension will no sure frustrate fantasy football players all around the UK. The Premier League football player, who represents Brentford in England, has been suspended indefinitely after confessing to 232 betting-related offences. He is prohibited from football activities until January 16, 2024. The football body also issued a £50,000 punishment and a warning to Toney over his future behaviour.
