PrizePicks makes California Attorney General aware of stance towards skill=based games

In an attempt to safeguard its most important operating territory, PrizePicks has testified before the California Attorney General. It makes the claim that its fantasy sports competitions are skill-based.The testimony follows the announcement last week that PrizePicks and two other fantasy sports companies that operate pick'em games were given orders by the Florida Gaming Control Commission to stop doing so by March 1.According to PrizePick's legal counsel, these kinds of gaming operations are not prohibited by state law. The business operates in about thirty states, including several like California where sports betting is illegal.
