i think improve your chances of getting a mortgage, you may need to demonstrate a stable income over a longer period of time, such as by earning income from sources other than poker or by having a history of consistent earnings over several years. You may also want to work with a mortgage broker who can help you find lenders that are more willing to work with self-employed

Niall Farrell, Scotland's top professional poker player, has earned over $11 million in his career but still struggled to secure a mortgage. Despite his success in the poker world and competing against stars like Neymar and Gerard Piqué, his career didn't make the home-buying process easier. i believe issue for Farrell was that his earnings come through tournaments and winnings, which didn't demonstrate a steady income to traditional mortgage lenders. He also has to pay his own taxes and expenses, unlike salaried workers who receive their income net of these costs.
