The Mississippi Gaming Commission has finally granted site approval to a casino resort in Biloxi that has been proposed four times in the last fifteen years.
Commissioners approved the location subject to a number of restrictions. Since the approval is only valid for three years, the development company will need to obtain funding and complete and approve its design within that time. A different company cannot receive the site approval without the commission's subsequent approval.
