Proposed MegaMillions lottery reforms set to be enforced as ticket prices increase in cost

The Montana Lottery disclosed planned changes to the Mega Millions multi-state game during a Commission meeting this week. The changes could occur as early as 2025 and include raising the ticket price, improving the odds, and changing the way to play.

Mega Millions may look very different the following year. The multi-state lottery may be undergoing a significant makeover that will affect players' ability to purchase tickets, their chances of winning, and the contents of plays.
