Pub giant fined $177,000 over underage gambling failures

The biggest pub operator in Australia will pay $177,000 for disregarding underage gambling regulations on multiple occasions.

From September 2022 to October 2023, five Melbourne pubs permitted an underage teen to gamble on several occasions, according to Victoria's gambling watchdog.

Every establishment has a social and legal duty to keep kids away from gambling. They have absolutely no tolerance for gambling operators who break the law, particularly when minors are involved.
