Rapper Blueface avoids prison for Las Vegas casino shooting

As part of a plea agreement, the rapper Blueface was given probation on Monday for the shooting that took place at a Las Vegas nightclub the previous year.

If the Los Angeles-based performer, 26, successfully completes his 36-month probationary period, he won't serve any time in jail. According to the sentence, Blueface might be imprisoned if he breaks the terms of his probation.

During his probation, the judge further prohibited Blueface from owning any firearms, other weapons, or illegal substances. He is not permitted to speak with the shooting victim and is only permitted to visit downtown or the Las Vegas Strip when necessary for his job.
