It is commendable to see the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) taking strong action against illegal gambling activities in Tutong. The successful bust of the gambling ring in Kampong Panchong is a testament to the RBPF's commitment to upholding the law and ensuring the safety and well-being of the community.

The involvement of both locals and foreigners in activities such as cockfighting and katam-katam gambling is a serious issue that needs to be addressed. Such illegal gambling operations not only promote criminal behavior but also have negative social and ethical implications.

The seizure of chickens, gambling equipment, and cash during the operation highlights the extent of the illegal activities being carried out by the gambling ring. By dismantling this operation, the RBPF has not only disrupted illegal gambling but also sent a strong message that such activities will not be tolerated.

It is crucial that the suspects involved in this illegal gambling ring face the consequences of their actions. The potential penalty of a BND2,500 fine and six months in jail serves as a deterrent to others who may be involved in similar illegal activities.

Overall, the RBPF's efforts in dismantling the Tutong gambling ring demonstrate their unwavering commitment to combating illegal gambling and upholding the rule of law. Such actions are essential in maintaining peace and order in the community and ensuring that justice is served.
