Regulator of gambling in Jamaica to examine advertising standards

The abundance of advertisements is causing concern, according to the executive director of the Betting Gaming & Lotteries Commission.
Jamaica.- A review has been requested by the Jamaican Betting Gaming & Lotteries Commission (BGLC) because of worries regarding the overabundance of gambling advertisements. Citus Evans, the BGLC's executive director, informed the Financial Gleaner that the organization would hold a public consultation to solicit input from interested parties and "concerned citizens."
 
I think it's only few nations that are thinking about regulating gambling which is something that every nation should be considering or should have considered. The said the upcoming teen are the leaders of tomorrow, how will tomorrow be if gambling is destroying their life now
 
It is all these overabundance of advertisements from gambling sites that has been causing over indulgence of the children in gambling. Unless these advertisements are regulated, it would pose a serious risks to the life of the children. This what the Jamaica authorities is trying to look into.
