Rennes' performances this season have been, to put it mildly, inconsistent. With eight victories and just one defeat, they are one of the best home teams in Ligue 1 so far, but lose several games away. To put this into context, they recently defeated PSG at home, which had served as a fortress for them the entire campaign. However, they are having trouble with their away performance as their chances of qualifying for the Champions League are dwindling. The visit from Strasbourg, who are league minnows, is good news for Rennes as they can make sure to get back on track. I expect Rennes to prevail.
