An anonymous threat led to a large gathering of police cars and officers at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. An unidentified male caller claiming to be a visitor to the opulent hotel and casino and in possession of explosives and firearms was reported to the Atlantic City Police Department.
To reroute traffic, law enforcement closed several of the nearby roads. In addition, police officers barred the doors to the hotel and casino so they could sweep the entire property.
