In Baccarat, the cards are revealed according to specific rules and procedures. Here's how the cards are revealed in the game:

1. Initial Deal: Initially, two cards are dealt to the player's hand and two cards to the banker's hand. In some variations, a third card may be dealt based on specific conditions.

2. Card Values: Each card in Baccarat has a specific value. Cards 2 to 9 are worth their face value, 10s and face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 0, and Aces are worth 1.

3. Calculation of Hand Value: The hand value is determined by adding up the values of the individual cards. If the sum of the cards exceeds 9, the value of the hand is determined by the rightmost digit. For example, a hand with a 7 and a 5 would have a value of 2 (7+5=12, and the rightmost digit is 2).

4. Natural Win: If either the player or the banker is dealt a total of 8 or 9 with their initial two cards, it is called a "natural win," and no additional cards are dealt.

5. Player's Third Card Rule: If the player's initial two cards have a total of 0 to 5, the player can draw a third card. However, if the player's total is 6 or 7, the player stands and does not draw a third card.

6. Banker's Third Card Rule: The banker's third card rule is more complex and depends on various factors, including the total value of the banker's initial two cards and the value of the player's third card (if drawn). The following rules apply:

- If the banker's total is 2 or less, the banker always draws a third card.
- If the banker's total is 3, the banker draws a third card unless the player's third card is an 8.
- If the banker's total is 4, the banker draws a third card if the player's third card is 2 to 7.
- If the banker's total is 5, the banker draws a third card if the player's third card is 4 to 7.
- If the banker's total is 6, the banker draws a third card if the player's third card is 6 or 7.
- If the banker's total is 7, the banker stands and does not draw a third card.

7. Compare Hand Values: Once all the cards have been dealt according to the rules, the player's and banker's hands are compared. The hand with a higher value wins. If the values are the same, it's a tie.

8. Payouts: If you bet on the player and win, you get a 1:1 payout (minus commission). If you bet on the banker and win, you also get a 1:1 payout, but a 5% commission is deducted. In the case of a tie bet, there is usually an 8:1 or 9:1 payout.

It's important to note that these rules and procedures may vary slightly depending on the specific variant of Baccarat being played, such as Chemin de Fer or Mini-Baccarat.
