Rhode Island senate approves raising casino credit limits

The Rhode Island Senate passed a bill allowing the two commercial casinos in the state to give high rollers larger loans.

According to Bally's, a lot of high rollers can afford to withstand these kinds of losses. The purpose of extending credit is to give gamblers a simpler, safer way to get large amounts of money instead of having them carry tens of thousands of dollars in bills into the establishment. It is not to give them money they do not have.
