The Rio de Janeiro State Lottery (Loterj) has extended its accreditation period for businesses looking to obtain permission to lawfully conduct business in the state.
Applications for Loterj authorization to legally run fixed-odds sports betting and igaming in Rio de Janeiro must be submitted by operators by Thursday at the latest.
This is because businesses are in a "transition period" until December 31st, when federal licenses for igaming and sports betting must be obtained.
