Roblox sites shut down after news outlet publishes results of investigation

The largest three "Robux casinos" on the internet, BloxFlip, Bloxmoon, and RBLXWild, seemed to give up and shut down their operations within hours of UK news channel Sky News publishing an investigation into the illicit online gambling industry that has grown around the gaming app Roblox. According to Sky News, the illicit third-party websites were enabling kids as young as 12 to wager on games like slots and blackjack using Robux, the Roblox in-game currency. There was no age-verification procedure, thus children of any age could register using their Roblox login credentials, even though the websites requested users to verify that they were at least 18 years old.
