Simply matching all face values of both cards yields the sum of the cards. A person's total is 14 if they receive a 6 as well as an 8. Because the game's mode is 10, the final score cannot be higher than 10 (ten). As a result, the leftmost digit is eliminated when there are two digits in the score. A player who totals 14 receives a score of 4.If a further card is chosen and it turns out to be a 5, the person's final score will indeed be 4 plus 5 = 9, which is a straight, and he'll win.
