After being found guilty of embezzling more than £2,000 from a local charity in Perthshire, a Scot thief just missed going to prison.
Perth Sheriff Court found the suspect guilty of carrying out the dubious transactions within one year.
The 42-year-old Dundee youth worker entered a guilty plea to stealing £2,050 using a credit card that was connected to the Children and Youth Activity Group charity.
It was also discovered that he had taken a PlayStation 4 from Coupar Angus Town Hall, the charity's headquarters, and sold it for £150.
