Self doubt: do you doubt yourself after losing?

Losing happens at any poker table, from Vegas to hoosegow. The question is, do you let it shake your confidence or use it to strengthen your game? When I take a bad beat or get played like a chump, there's no room for self doubt. I just reassess the situation, figure out where I went wrong, and look for the lessons. Every pot I win or lose makes me a little wiser. Doubt will only slow you down and cause you to play scared. You shrug it off and dive right back in, ready to Make the Right Play. Winnings and losses come and go, but a shaky poker mentality will run you out of money and spirit. I may have lost that hand, but I'll win the next one. Self doubt has no seat at my poker table.
