Self-exclusion bill passes out of West Virginia House

The legislation pertaining to sports betting self-exclusion is still being pursued by the West Virginia Legislature.

The West Virginia House has passed a bill that forbids sports betting for anyone who has harassed or displayed a detrimental pattern of behavior toward a sports official, coach, or any spectator at a sporting event.

On February 28, the day of the state's crossover deadline, the bill was approved by the House. The House Judiciary Committee of West Virginia approved it earlier this month.
