Serial robbery crew arrested for stealing $250,000 California Lottery Scratcher tickets

A group suspected of stealing more than $250,000 worth of California Lottery Scratcher tickets over a two-month period from 45 convenience stores in Los Angeles County was recently detained by detectives.

In almost every robbery, the crew threatened to use force. In a different robbery, one of the suspects had a knife, while another one had pretended to have a gun, according to her.

As per the department statement, the suspects leaped the counter and made off with lottery scratchers valued at over $3,000. Along with regaining the stolen tickets, detectives were able to apprehend three men and one boy.
