Seven active and former players are charged following a gambling investigation at Iowa and Iowa State.

Criminal charges have been brought against seven current or previous athletes as a consequence of gambling investigations at Iowa and Iowa State, with former Hawkeye basketball player Ahron Ulis as well as Cyclones quarterback Hunter Dekkers having the most notoriety. In the allegations, each is charged with tampering with records connected to an inquiry into sports gambling by the Iowa Criminal Division. In addition, current players who break NCAA gambling laws risk losing their eligibility.
