Sevilla is presently 12th in the La Liga league table and has had a terrible league season thus far by their norms, but they have recently shown evidence of improvement and will be required to play at the highest level of their ability to pick up a trophy this year. PSV Eindhoven must perform at their peak against top European opponents because of recent inconsistency. On paper, Sevilla is the superior team and has the advantage in this match.
