Singapore bans people receiving legal assistance from gambling

Certain people who are receiving criminal legal aid will no longer be able to enter Singapore's casinos. With this action, the nation is stepping up its efforts to stop abuse. Regulations recently put into effect aim to prohibit those receiving legal assistance from gambling.

It will no longer be legal for anyone receiving legal aid to gamble at land-based casinos under the new rules. Additionally, these people won't be allowed to play slots, play the lottery, or gamble online.
