Singapore changes casino law to allow cashless gaming

Changes to the Casino Control Act will allow Singapore's two casinos to offer cashless gaming.

However, the amendments did not allow cryptocurrency to be used in making bets.

The Singapore government's decision to develop the two IRs was based on the need to reinvent the country's tourism industry and generate economic benefits such as job creation, so the minister is qualified to take on the position.
