Singapore government may review regulations on gambling loot boxes

If loot boxes start to significantly influence gambling behavior, the government will review the gambling laws, according to the state minister of home affairs.

In parliament, lawmakers had questioned her about a new bill that would strengthen Singapore's casino laws and impose harsher penalties for offenses related to casinos.


It makes things like going over family visitation limits, taking bets back after they've been placed, and taking notes on the gaming machines in the casino illegal.
