Singapore's AML Operation Discovers $1.7 Billion in Assets

In the previous month, the Singapore National Police conducted a successful operation targeting a band of foreigners who were purportedly engaged in illicit activities, such as money laundering, online gambling, and fraudulent schemes. This operation culminated in the apprehension and prosecution of ten individuals. During the announcement, it was revealed that an approximate sum of S$1 billion worth of assets had been confiscated. However, in a recent update released on Wednesday, the Singapore National Police confirmed that the value of the seized assets had dramatically surged to an astonishing S$2.4 billion amidst the ongoing investigation.
