SkillOnNet receives license to operate in Peru

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism has given SkillOnNet permission to conduct business in Peru.

PlayUZU.pe, the flagship brand of SkillOnNet, which offers software localized to Spanish, will be the gateway for Peruvian players to access the company's portfolio of casino games thanks to this new license.

Online gambling has been a thing in Peru for a while, but until August 2022, it didn't seem to have a formal legal licensing structure. A law creating extensive regulations for gambling activities was then passed by Peruvian lawmakers, and it became operative in February 2024.
